Item Details[]

Hetalia Karuta[]

A Hetalia-themed Karuta set was released November 26, 2009.

The game comes with a CD featuring 46 voice clips from the first season of the anime. The voice clips and the yomifuda contain the same quotes, so either can be used. The torifuda are all stills from the anime, matching the scene each quote is taken from. As the game is set in Iroha-garuta style, the top left of each torifuda also shows a hiragana, so no mastery of the anime is required in order to play.

The CD, and thus the deck of yomifuda cards, contains quotes by Italy, Romano, Germany, Japan, America, England, France, China, Russia, Chibitalia, and Holy Roman Empire. Hungary, Lithuania and Switzerland also appear in the torifuda cards.
